The Chronos is a modern powered glider with extraordinary manoeuvrability, light and sporty handling and easy take off and landing. Carefully selected airfoils together with a combined reinforcement technology using Mylar and plastic filaments delivers high performance, stability and a good cruising speed. Low fuel consumption is then the icing on the cake.
The construction using diagonal ribs and a system of load-be aring tapes gives the canopy stability and helps keep a clean profile. The canopy has 58 cells and has an elliptical form with an aspect ratio of 5.2. The canopy is very resistant to collapse, but it retains sporty handling in all trim settings. The upper cascade is made from unsheathed lines. Thin top lines and smaller sizes of canopy help to achieve higher speeds. Specially designed airfoils with smooth shape of the airfoil nose is maintained by Mylar reinforcement combined with plastic rods provide extraordinary glide ratio and stability.
The Chronos is equipped with a 4 point risers system and trimmers. The risers are equipped with a compensator to correct heeling moments and to stabilize the canopy in flight at higher cruising speeds. Anyway the Chronos is very roll stable. For minimum sink rate with outstanding performance and low fuel consumption the trimmers should be pulled down. The open position of trim decreases the angle of attack and increases cruising speed. The brakes are light for the first 30 cm of pull provide extraordinary manoeuvrability. In the next phase of braking the pressure increases progressively and provides the pilots with sufficient information. A special brake-system of flaps on the portion of trailing edge at the centre of the canopy help to achieve the extremely low minimum speed necessary for launch and landing during symmetrical application of the brakes, this system also aids climbing performance. The brakes handles are equipped with swivels and additional thin loops to make control of the glider easier and less tiring during long flights. The Chronos is a paramotoring glider, which allows you to time travel.
The use of high-quality materials and constant quality control during the manufacturing process together with consistent development work produces high quality products.
